They say a picture says a thousand words...

Sometimes words can paint a pretty picture.

Maybe it's a depiction of the infinite invisible for those who can't see it, to see where it's at... A reminder incase we forgot where it was, or lost sight of it.

Can you be a little more specific about the point you're trying to make here?

You should stop using a human as an image of God, love doesn't look that simple

May I ask why?

How should god/love be depicted? I mean I could think of infinite ways... What difference does it make personally?

It makes a difference, and if it was personal then why are you here, youre trying to show how you feel in an image, but American brainwashing has caused a consciousness where seeing God represented in any greek or Roman way as bringing thoughts of oppression and fear, the opposite image you want for God.

What difference? How? What are the effects? It's (god as a man) just a symbol or representation instead of nothing or something, or anything for that matter.

Are you really asking how a symbol can bring certain emotions to mind? I'm just telling you that your countrymen have been brainwashed to fear that image.

What?

I thought that was the guy with the horns and pitch fork.

Never mind.

In that case, don't look up!

The Christian view of God is very much the same as my idea of what a devil would be like, if such a thing existed.

Would that make your version of god be the equivalent to the Christian devil... If there is such a thing.

Just wondering?

If your talking about god as the primordial creator of this reality/existence there can only be one surely... Explained in infinite different ways. If not the opposing views both risk being wrong.

Not at all. It's just that the Christian God is judgmental and jealous and angry and so many other things that does not represent her. God is experiencing godself in an infinite amount of ways but not as a judgmental child.

I'll give you a hand, it's that feeling you get when you picture ancient Egyptians meditating to the elements
