North Korea fires mid-range ballistic missiles toward Japan Sea: Yonhap

(Reuters) - North Korea fired two medium-range ballistic missiles toward the Japan Sea early on Wednesday, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said, citing senior South Korean military officials. The missiles, which appeared to be Rodong class, flew some 650 km (400 miles), the agency said. North Korea has fired several short-range missiles in recent days. Wednesday's launches came on the day Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was due to meet South Korean President Park, along with U.S. President Barack Obama, who brokered the meeting.
I believe this is at least the second time in the last week or so that North Korea has test-fired missiles. I always worry about stories from North Korea because their leader is so unpredictable. Could you imagine him and Vladimir Putin working together?!

Putin would never work with that little turd. Maybe on China's advice because he is a bona-fide weirdo.

China and north korea could be thinking some reunification is in order after seeing Russia.

This could all be orchestrated to Minimize Natos response, would have to pick which battles to fight if China went for Tawian, NK goes for SK, Russia the rest of Ukraine.

... if China went for Tawian, NK goes for SK ...

For either of these events to occur, the US would have to be complicit. As that is probably not the case, expect Chinese leadership to maintain the status quo for the near term. Diplomatically, they stand a much better chance of success in letting the cards continue to fall in the order they are. This is completely compromising Obama's facade of virility, both here and abroad. It's embarrassing!!

The US did recently get Japan to hand over its highly enriched uranium much to the pleasure of the Chinese. I think the picture in the link below says a thousand words about how the Japanese PM might actually feel about this development.

In my opinion, none of those battles need to be fought by us.

We need to stop giving money to/dealing with countries that hate us. Plain and simple. Get our military here, on our soil, and let any one of the butt-nuggets in charge try to lead an attack on the U.S.

Seriously, this is all getting out of hand. A lot of powerful countries are getting restless and making people nervous. Not a fun time.

For having the "World Police" attitude we sure have let some winners into power across the globe...
