I sure don't know, but I don't think there is a System Restore for forums to send ATS back to a former day in time.

You are correct. Staying mum would not be wise.

I was referring to spending 20 or 30 minutes creating a thread and building it.

When the ownership change happened earlier this year and the back end of ATS was reorganized, I saw over 300 of my created threads totally vanish.

Simply attempting to let others know that imo, investment under these current IDs should be kept to a minimum, unless the owners say the old IDs will not be restored.

Maybe your old account was heavily laden with photos and avatars. I only uploaded two photos and zero avatars over 13 years. My old account was as crisp as this new one is.

All you need to do is post. After a few posts it switches on.

Nominal posting would just about kill this site off for good.

One potential solution might be a comprehensive password reset, and then sending out new passwords to everyone via email.
