The Butterfly[ Feb2014]

Been born in cold world, encapsulated and confined but with a heart that is full of warmth, she waits.
She waits to break free of her confinement, to spread her wings and fly of into the warm sunlight and freedom.

Waiting outside, trying to stay warm,I wait for her.
As I sit on a branch of a newly blossoming apple tree, I take in the nectar of life.
Behind me I hear the soft whooshing sounds of something beautiful.
A butterfly of amazing beauty arrives on a branch next to me.
It is the one I have been waiting for.
Watching her as she also drinks the nectar of life, she turns and smiles at me as I look up and smile at her.
Lifting off , I flutter over to her to join her in taking in the nectar.
Our hearts begin to beat as one as so do our wings.
Having our fill, we fly off into the warm sun, looking for a home to start life again renewed.
As the gentle breeze of destiny blows us , we reach our destination.
We begin to create a new generation of love, a love with no boundaries.
As the sunsets, we know that as short as this day has been, it will carry on for an eternity.
