"We are not doing anything illegal."

"We respect the constitution."

"We respect privacy."

"We are dedicated to transparency."

Repeat a lie often enough and everyone will believe it, particularly if it comes from someone in authority.

This is as good as saying that they do indeed spy on Congress, just like they spy on everyone else. The question is how can anyone prove otherwise? The words of Edward Snowden or anyone else who dare speak are immediately invalidated by calling anyone who speaks against them a traitor. How bulletproof of a vest is that? Nevertheless, even if we could somehow prove they engaged in illegal activity & give them a cease & desist order who on earth can enforce this? Everyone knows that they will continue on regardless.

Congress is who they first and foremost gathered blackmail dirt about and practiced on.

This place is hilarious.
