I saw this and started thinking, I know that SpaceX is more about space than aircraft but if successful I can see the technology bleeding into other interesting roles.

I just think a awesome way to get a few uav's very high very fast and get your rocket platform back instead of in the sea in lots of bits.

Sadly the technology would also be a good weapons system, for observation, transport or bombing...
