I can't believe I am about to say this, since I cringe every time I read it in an OP, but if this issue has already been brought up...Mods please trash this thread.

I have seen the date Dec 31st, 1969 a few times today for the "topic start dates" and "last time visited" on select member profiles.

Here is a pic:

Is it just me or has anyone else seen this?

Here is another screenshot with that date, but it only shows up for the members "Mark" and "Bill".

Thanks for the info.

Would this be an issue on my end, or is it an ATS timestamp error?

There is a thread with the explanation for the date already.
I believe SkepticOverlord already said it was a gag between all the owners?

Something along those lines...I'm sure.
Nothing more.

Bingo.

The value is the default value for the date if no data is entered into the field. This is to prevent a "null error" in the software seeing that the date is a key field. For example the users "Mark" and "Bill" was probably created by inserting them directly into the database and not by the usual registration process.

So, sadly it is not evidence of time traveling... Just plain old boring default data values in the ATS database.
