The Retribution of Roger Rabbit [CLWC]

"What do you mean you're leaving?"

"I'm done Roger!", she said as she emptied out the contents of the dresser drawer onto the bed.

"Jessica, you must be crazy. Do you think you can find a better rabbit than me? I'm famous around here! Remember.....I saved Toon Town."

With a bit of condescension and a roll of the eyes she exclaimed, "So you saved Toon Town. So what? After that you got caught up with the celebrity status, spent all your time living the good life with your drinking buddies and left me at home all alone to worry about what you were doing!"

"You're making a big mistake Jessica! Walk out that door and I may not take you back!"

The sound of footsteps could be heard on the hardwood floors outside the small apartment and a knock soon followed.

Roger slowly rose from his chair and walked towards the door; along the way he knocked over an empty whisky bottle that shattered as it impacted the cold, hard floor.

"Make your decision Jessica. But choose wisely 'cause I'm the baddest bunny around. And clean up that glass!" Roger opened the door only to find his heart retreating into his stomach.

"Jessica, it's time to go", said the stranger at the door.

Jessica closed her suitcase and walked to the door, ready to begin anew.

"Don't you go you bitch! I'm the baddest rabbit around! You're nothing without me!"

Jessica smiled at Roger and said "Come on Beezer. Let's go".

The door closes slowly......fade to black.
