An unidentified object spotted over Sarajevo, Bosnia&Herzegovina

This video was taken on Tuesday evening, 29th January and it shows an object flying off into orbit. The video quality is rather poor (as usual) but the eyewitnesses claim they saw a "red dot" flying away. The object was visible from different parts of the city. The picture next to that, taken on 1st January, shows two objects flying over the hills near Sarajevo.

I don't see any reason why this couldn't be an airplane.

What makes you think it's not an airplane?

I'm not claiming that it can't be an airplane, I'm just conveying the people's reactions since everyone was rather bewildered by the sight.

Given that snippet of information and the video of the light seemingly to my eyes varying in brightness (flickering?) I'd say the probability is its a lantern .

The people who recorded the video are mentioning it resembles a "parachute on fire" or something of a sort, so your guess has a point.
