Experts in Switzerland are recommending further research into the potential health hazards posed by electrosmog.
They say there is not enough data available at the moment to assess the risks of high-frequency emissions from relays, mobile phones and other
electrical appliances.
The experts from the medical faculty of Basel University also pointed out contradictions in previous studies.
They called for precautionary measures to contain the risks of possible health hazards.
The Swiss government is due to decide on a nationwide research programme on electrosmog later this year.
