Naaaaah. Honestly, I don't think Washington, or the other politicians around the country, take Ron Paul seriously. Ryan was probably chosen because he isn't bogged down with negative 'luggage' like the others and because he's got energy and economic experience.

Have thought so since the stat of his name being thrown in. People are still asking "Who is Ron Paul", so yes, very possible.
