I think my wife needs help.

I woke this morning and thought the Easter Bunny threw up.

It is now almost 11:30 pm and she is still decorating the house for Easter.

We don't even go to church.

I have bins that take up at least a good 200sq ft.
Several for each holiday.
Christmas is the biggest.
Valentine's day
Easter
Forth of July
Halloween
Thanks giving

The only thing I can say is it keeps her busy and out of my mancave.
Which, now that spring has sprung, don't get to spend much time in.

Anyways,anyone else experiencing holiday overkill?

haha. you're funny. I like the analogy of the bunny barfing.

Even when I had a husband I never got into the decorating thing. To me, it's just a lot of extra work to bring the stuff out then to put it back. I like to keep it simple.

sounds like she does all the work, so just kick back and enjoy it. Some people just enjoy that kind of stuff for some odd reason.

if there are kids around i think it's ok to over decorate ....

if not, you are probably better off not mentioning it. safer to just deal

Yea,my kids are 10 and 13, and she use to be a teacher also.

The only thing I do is bring the bins up and bring back down.
If I offer to help, well, shtf, and a crawl back downstairs.

Their are very few things I won't do for my wife. Holiday decorating is one of them.

She thought I was joking before we got married, now if any decorating goes on its all her.

I don't mind her getting the stuff, I just won't decorate.

The only thing I do is the xmas lights outside.
Oh,and xmas tree lights.
I'm the tech guy for lights.
Which means if one light goes out,I throw the whole bunch out and buy L.E.D. instead.
And they still go out!

lol, I don't even do that. I don't get upset if she does buy new ones though, she never goes above whatever budget we set. (I plead the fifth on that one though
)

Oh and the pre -lit xmas trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One whole section goes out and I buy a strand of lights to replace them.
What a waste of money.

Would it help if I told you I ran over a cotton tail bunny one Sat night before Easter many years ago, and cried all the way home? I killed the Easter bunny!

I don't decorate for all the holidays, just Christmas and not that much either. Would rather spend my money on gardening and food preservation methods. Drying, canning, freezing. Or spend on camping gear that will double for SHTF. I usually don't get anything that I wouldn't use camping, if its in storage and not using it, to me its a waste. By the way just got my fishing license and some new tackle for the box.

What a good husband you are. Carry those bins then vacate! That's exactly what she wanted, needed, so she must be a very happy wife and mother. Kudos to you, friend.
