Realplayer latest verision download option wont work with Firefox

last night I let my computer install the lastest version of Realpalyer which I use for downlaoding. Now the download button wll not appear over a video because the setting in the "downlaod" section in the preferences section of Realpalyer only works for IE8. IE8 is the only browser listed which can be enabled.

Anyone found a fix for this?

You can check filehippo.com for an earlier version of the realplayer plug in. Perhaps they'll have a copy!

I only use Firefox and I looked at the extensions in my add-on and found this: RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 15.0.0

I also use the RealPlayer record feature. You may want to make sure you have the plugin. To check this go up to Tools --> Add-ons --> Extensions.

That just happened to me. I went into to 'add-ons' under the 'tools' menu and enabled real player despite what they said. The little 'download' box started appearing over videos again and all was well in my world. ~ the end ~
