Four ways 9/11 changed America's attitude toward religion

I thought this was an interesting article given that we are 10 years out from 9/11 now.
Four Ways

1: A chosen nation becomes a humbled one.
2: The re-emergence of "Christo-Americanism."
3: Interfaith becomes cool.
4: Atheists come out of the closet.

Number 4 has really happened even in the time I have been with ATS it has really accelerated.
Number 3 is a danger to Christians having their beliefs either diluted or added to, contrary to what the bible teaches.

If anything, after 9/11, attention to "multiculturism" has increased.

Obama said "it wasn't an attack on Islam"...even though, if the official account is correct, A percieved Islamic anger towards the West was higlighted.

Atheism has come out of the closet, certainly, a good thing, but it shouldn't take an event like that for people to be upfront and honest with their beliefs.

I expect this will all lead to us unifying more instead of separating
