Late Update: Responding to what he says are misrepresentations of his view, Vadum writes that of course he thinks poor people have the right to vote, he just doesn't want anybody to help them since their votes "could lead to the destruction of the republic."

Now, if we lived in an absolute democracy we could assume that voters would directly vote on legislation, thus matching the philosophy that poor people will just vote themselves greater benefits...instead they only have the power to vote for candidates.

Pay no mind to the argument though, it's only class warfare when the poor want something.
