The temperature here north of Memphis is 108, heat index of 129, even in the shade it's 103. I absolutely can't stand this kind of heat, not only
because it's hard to tolerate, but because so many people and animals suffer and lose their lives in this kind of extreme weather. Does anyone know
how the Native Americans call for rain???
The heat index here just under an hour ago was 132°F/55°C! It is so incredibly hot the lights have flickered several times today and yesterday the
power went out 3 times in less than an hour. Texas… you can have your heat back, we do not want it!
I'll just say this, like I told my neighbor. Theres a good damn reason they put headlights on riding lawn-mowers ok. I am not messing around in this
heat, and I'm sorry if it pssts people off with me mowing the grass at 10:00 pm at night. I'm not taking a chance with a heat stroke or w/e else
over some ass,,, I mean grass.
