I'm not sure if it's making national news or not, but the Iowa/Nebraska/South Dakota floods are a HUGE deal here. Thousands of people are being
displaced from their homes, and the Missouri river is continuing to rise.

Gov. Branstad has issued a disaster proclamation for 6 Iowa counties so far, and they've closed down I-29 going into Dakota Dunes SD to all non
residents. Even volunteers can't get in to help sandbag. I guess what I'd like to know is if anyone outside of the immediate area has heard much
about us?
That's kinda what i had been hearing. I have friends in KC and they haven't even really heard about it. It's a shame. I feel like this is a big
deal and it's being swept under the rug!!
