Can Banned Members Still Receive/Check PM's?

Just curious if the notion is futile or not, lost another good member in the chatroom.
Are there different type of bans, as in temporary and/or permanent?

There are two types of bans.

Post Bans, where members can read the boards but cannot reply. They can also send PM's to staff only.

Permanent bans, members are no longer able to log into their accounts.

Members who are banned from chat, are not banned from ATS, they simply cannot go into chat anymore..

Thank you for the reply, I just wasn't sure if a banned member would receive my messages still. Is there a way to distinguish from Post ban and Permanent ban?

Permanent banned members will show very blank avatars without mood or location.

There is no way to tell if a member is post banned however.
