Former Israeli defense chiefs draft new Mideast peace plan

This on first reading is a plan I believe the Palestinians will accept with very slight revision. It is based on the 2002 Arab Initiative. It a very workable plan. Of course Netanyahu will reject it and try to come up with his own plan which will include areas to be negotiated so peace will never come. This plan requires NO nogotiation it is near perfect as is. Even the right of return is sensibly addressed. I expect to hear favorable comments from the Palestinians.

I do congratulate the Israeli's who have taken the brave steps to start to turn Israel into the country all its ordinary people deserve and want it to be

I suspect it takes sheer guts and body armour to go against the groups that want to maintain the status quo; but its got to be faced up to that, until they have a workable plan that contains goals acceptable and beneficial to all, the rockets from both sides will fly.
