DC is a Federal District and should have never been set up for housing to begin with..

EDITED to add this nifty 2nd line..

That is my argument. D.C. should not have any permanent residents. It is not a representative voting district.

I do not want the citizens to lack a voice in congress. I am very offended that they do not have a voting rep in the house. It is their right. They should be incorporated back into the state they where removed from.

The federal area should encompass no more than needed for the "Federal City."

Check out thislink for a short on DC history.
