Is Kindness Contagious?

Of course kindness is contagious.

I know when I am out and about my mood can affect those around me.

The other day I was in a slow line at the pharmacy. I was smiling, and meditating while waiting, and I noticed both old men in front and behind me huffing and glancing about impatiently.

The one behind me commented on my smile, and I told him I have patience.

He said he didnt rather grumily.

I said patience is a virtue, and he told me it wa sthe second day ina row someone said that to him!

I smiled and said, well, how about that?, and guess what?

He smiled back.

The kindness got to him.
