If that is what we are talking about, then why are we talking about it? Whats the difference between hooking an electrolysis system up to the grid, and hooking it up to its own solar panel?

more importantly, im sure you guys know more about electrolysis than myself,

Does electrolysis ionize oxygen and hydrogen? As in, when they separate, are they ionized?
