Roman Catholic couples are being encouraged to pray together before they have sex.

A book published by a prominent Church group invites those setting out on married life to recite the specially-composed Prayer Before Making Love.

It is aimed at 'purifying their intentions' so that the act is not about selfishness or hedonism.

I find this to be completely backwards. Who has time while in the mood to stop a say a prayer to god before sex?

Shouting "Oh God!" during the nasty doesn't count for this one.

Agreed about who has the time to pray before sex, well it depends of what they are praying on...

Now that I've stopped laughing and the Fresca is no longer burning my nostrils... Talk about a mood killer!!! Of course, you realize that this is from a group of men (priests) who allegedly have never had sex! Of course, only their Altar Boys know for sure! Praying before sex...
