Police accuse wife in death of boxing champ gatti

Brazilian authorities detained the wife of former boxing champion Arturo Gatti and formally accused her Sunday of killing him at a posh seaside tourist resort in Brazil.

Police said 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues was taken into custody after contradictions in her interrogation and presented a formal accusation against her. Prosecutors will later decide whether she will be charged.

Wow, I just read about this literally a minute ago. Supposedly she was in the hotel with him for ten hours and claims to have not known he was dead. They say she strangled him with her purse.

Was he knocked out first? Was there a third party in the room like she claims?

I guess we will NEVER see a Ward Gatti 4, hich makes me sad, but even sadder that such a great boxer is now dead.
