Obama Aide Quits Over Presidential Jet Scare

A top White House aide has resigned over the controversial flyover by a US presidential plane that caused panic among New Yorkers.
Louis Caldera had approved the photoshoot of Air Force One with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

The flight over Manhattan scared some New Yorkers as it brought back memories of the September 11 attacks in 2001, where hijacked planes destroyed the World Trade Centre.

I think it was a bit extreme over resigning to be honest....
It was accompanied by two F-16 jets.

Fair enough, if they had common sense and wanted pic of air force one with statue of liberty they could have made a public announcement or something of the sort...
