The "flapping cuz of the pole" thing does not explain how the bottom far corner has the initial momentum at the beginning of the wave. There is no way that moving that pole could make the flag start flapping at the opposite end. You will get just as many people agreeing it is fake as telling you it was real. Seems to me that if we really went to the moon, it would not be so easy to debate in the year 2008/9 but that is just me.
