Yeah by my calculations, gas topped out at about $4.10 by national average in the U.S. I believe. And since it's fallen 2/3'rds of the price, little more than that, you would think that meant gas would be like a 1/3rd of the price, $1.359 by my estimate. One thing I do remember clearly when gas was under $20 a barrel it was like $.99 or cheaper.

Relatively you'd have to look at taxes, expenses(refining etc etc) and how many gallons of gas you get from a barrel(40).
