Putin Calls for Financial Architecture Revision

Russia’s proposal is to mondify global financial architecture for solving current problems. RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin made the respective statement Thursday at the summit of prime ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Kazakhstan's Astana.

As far as I've been able to learn so far, Putin is supposedly proposing that trade settlements between Russia and China are no longer done in US dollars but rubels and yuans instead. A news site I frequent on suggests that this could be a precedence for an emerging international financial order.
