Anyone who asks if Bush might be doing this, or plans on doing this, has no clue just how deep the sh!t is.

Bush has no need to do that. He's a pawn, just like Cheney, just like Obama, Clinton etc. You think they're worried about who wins the next elections? What you see on TV, debates, all of that is just an act, so you will think you have a choice. All of them work for the same power and it doesn't matter who's in charge, they have a plan to carry out, and they will do so.

As a matter of fact, Bush staying in power would make the already weary people more weary, and the people who weren't weary, will become weary and start asking too much questions. They can't afford to do that. Someone else will win the elections, this I can assure you of. They need to make the people sheeple again. They need to make them think they made a choice, a better choice. But, it won't matter...it's just a feeling the people will feel induced by lies and pushed by ignorance.

You clearly have no idea, how deep this really goes.

Some good points here, it is largely about CFR, Bilderberg,
Club of Rome, and Council of 300.

It is all outlined very well they plan to dump the Constitution.

Hell it was on mainstream news, but most ppl were too busy
watching their sports deity, or some other diversion to pay
attention to it.

I do not expect them to leave office. I do not believe that there will be an election. Before the Russian invasion- I expected it to be that one of the nominees would be killed off (right before election day), or some kind of terrorist action to disrupt the election process. With the possibility of another global war- it is quite possible that they (Bush and can't hit a target Cheney) will stay in office.

well King George II is a renob...this dude doesnt understand the Constitution...nor does he understand the 27th Amendment that was passed in 1992 i believe that "no nobility would be able to hold office". If this asswipe is planning to be a dictator..Ill tell you now that I have confirmed that people in the military are against this guy...hes a dictator in waiting "the Constitution is nothing but a piece of paper" reverberated with those in the military...the CIA, FBI, and the NSA...im just going to say this once..but there are those that are againt this stick of a person..who couldnt buy himself out of a problem. King George II is nothing but a retard waiting to happen. King George..go to hell ..of which will happen...and the people will make that happen..the revolution will start in Texas...and spread...we are stick of the aristocrats in DC...If any of you Americans believe in the Constitution I would find a militia...because you will need it and also those are the true patriots of this country..if you are a wussy and plan on being "outside the box" and keep on typing on here about how you dont like the government...and do not find a group or a militia to sign up with..you are truely wussies...period...good luck..I double 90 percent of you would fight for our Constitution because your all wussies..

As you said, there is, in fact, an executive order in which Bush can declare a national emergency thereby enacting continuity of government or COG.

If the "October Surprise" were to be some major event that Bush deems a National Emergency he could VERY WELL postpone the election indefinitely. And if there is civil unrest because of the event and because of his postponing the election he will deploy our own troops into our cities and arrest dissidents and put them into the detention centers Halliburton has been building right under everyones noses.

But...this is only if an emergency happens. i know what I just said is all doomsdayish but I'm just saying that this is the circumstance under which he can stay in office past his term. and is the only circumstance where this could happen. He can't just rewrite the 22nd amendment. No one would stand for that.

I've liked some of the replies I've gotten on this thread so far, and seen some pretty poor replies from people who seem to think I know nothing of how the nation works or how the Presidency is run, as well as suggesting that the Constitution will hold no matter what. However, since the detractors have made a point of being so nasty and arrogant in their perspectives, I've taken some time to do some reading on all things having to do with some of the perspectives I was mentioning in regards to the original post.

While the original intent of the first post was just more or less a proverbial "what if?" situation, some people know some of this while others do not. Instead of stating any one person in any way, I'll just re-state the original point of the post with a few links to articles I had read before on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia : Directive 51

Directive 51 holds that under an act of "National Emergency" that the United States can be transitioned away from the usual Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of Government through the seperation of powers into what is referred to as an "Enduring Constitutional Government", without Congressional oversight. While this sounds fairly safe and still under the usual terms of how Government operates, it is not in the least the same, as it breaks away from Constitutional Law because it does not allow that the three branches of Government are equal, since the President can effectively declare a Catastrophic Emergency and does not specificy who has the power to declare this Catastrophic Emergency over and done with.

Parts of Directive 51 are open for the public, while other parts are not, under the guise of "National Security Concerns", which means they do not have to tell a soul who isn't supposed to know, including U.S. Representative Peter DeFazio who is also on the Homeland Security Committee. Seeing as this is a member of Congress, and he's on the appropriate committee, and they will not allow him to see the undisclosed portions, this should alarm any American citizen.

If you go and read for yourself the Wikipedia link I supplied, you will also notice that there's the "See Also" area, which are things that are related to to this particular entry, and you will notice the following areas you might want to peruse on your own :

* Continuity of Government

Continuity of Government, notice the verbage, the continuity of government. Nowhere is it mentioned about the continuity of society.

* Continuity of Operations Plan

A sub-branch of C.O.G., and even more details of the program.

* National Emergencies Act

The name says it all, or it should. Investigate it for yourself.

* Presidential Directive

These are the President's Directives, most of these are classified, but are in essence similar to a law being signed into place, without Congressional oversight.

* Posse Comitatus Act

This is the act which holds that no United States military can act as a Law Enforcement agency, with exception to a National Disaster. While organizations like Blackwater, Kroll, Dyn Corp, Triple Canopy, and any other "private military contractor" companies, essentially mercenaries, are active, they are acting as a conduit towards bypassing the Posse Comitatus Act, with a lesser means than direct "Law Enforcement duties" while they are acting as escorts of dignataries overseas and relief efforts like when Blackwater was in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

* State of Emergency

This one states what constitutes a "state of emergency" for the President to utilize, if he were to decide to declare such.

* U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Homeland Security was formed shortly after September 11, 2001. What most people do not know however, is that Tom Ridge, the first director of Homeland Security, during the Vietnam War, was operating in Operation Phoenix, a highly controversial program for neutralizing Vietcong. Do your own research through the link I provided, and come to your own interpretation.

* Main Core

A database which has been kept on American citizens, numbering up to 8 million, which has financial and personal information, which is collected and stored without court orders or warrants, since the 1980's, before the actual declaration of the War on Terror, for citizens who may be deemed as possible threats during a time of crisis.

Add to all of this that President Bush has utilized what is called a Signing Statement to modify laws after he has signed them into effect, which effectively alters and or adds an addendum to the law he has signed. It is speculated that he has done this up to 750 times since stepping into office in the beginning of his first term of Presidency.

This is in essence a major power grab on the part of the President, in trying to make the office of the highest elected official more powerful every time he has done this.

By the way, when I speak of anything Presidential, it is not because of any hatred of a President, although I may have expressed this in the past, I loathe politicians in general, it is because I have thoroughly done my research on such, and it has been suggested over one thousand times now that I should run for the office of President.

Each and every time, I have laughed, and stated these people must not like me very much, because they know my perspective on politicians.

Never trust a politician to do for you, what you can do for yourself, ever.

If a politician says to trust in them, they are about to rob you blind.

Here's an interesting addition to this thread, about Blackwater going back to New Orleans for Hurrican Gustav, recruting current Law Enforcement into the fold of "private military contractors" :

Blackwater Going Back To New Orleans

Yes, this all is relevant to the upcoming election, in one way or another.

If someone is in doubt of this, please state your questions, and I'll make it clearer.

Bush will get a third term, in the name of McCain. McCain votes 95% of the time with Bush. And his VP, like Cheney, wants more power.

I don't believe Bush will bother with the 22nd amendment.If he does anything he will declare marshal law and take over the country.He has it all setup now to do so.He can declare a national emergency on economic grounds.As far as congress goes it's very apearant to some at least there is no two party system anymore.Most dems and republicans belong to the corporate party.The differences between the two are to give a false impression that they are different.The facts are there for everyone to to see but the media skirts them as much as possible.70% of the people wanted an end to the war so they elected democrats to end it.It never happened.A majority of the people wanted no bailout.They got it anyway.Pelosi blocked Bushs impeachment.Yet the majority of the people are convinced that thier party will make things better for them.It would not surprise me to see a false flag attack in the next few days and have Bush declare marshal law halting the election and taking over the country as a dictator.However he really doesn't have to do this as the people will elect either Obama or McCain and the corporations still control the country.
I personly hope Bush does try to take over as that may wake up the moronic masses.Altho they may just lay down as usual when the media tells them it had to be done.
