More blasts in India

news.bbc.co.uk

At least 15 people have been killed and dozens more wounded after a series of explosions struck the western Indian city of Ahmedabad, officials have said.

More than a dozen blasts are reported to have hit residential areas, crowded markets, a train station and a bus in Gujarat state's commercial capital.

It is thought the explosions were caused by crudely-made devices hidden in boxes and on bicycles.

On Friday a series of similar blasts hit the southern city of Bangalore.

Hmm, a big increase in blasts in India in the last few years, almost always in mixed areas too. Seems like something or someone is trying to destroy peace at its seams.

Combined with yesterdays blasts in Bangalore, this makes it seem like just more than coincidence.

seems like someone is trying to do something

one thing to keep in mind is that this is mostly happening in the places where outsourcing happens. It could be people who are against the inflation that outsourcing causes, or the path to westernization.

www.wordtravels.com...

take a look at the link to see the distance between these cities too.

I'm guessing thats at least 500-600 miles away, so chances are the perpetrators are different people (although quite possibly of the same agenda)...

OR they could still very well be two DIFFERENT groups? Either revenge attacks, someone inspired by the other attacks or the same people responsible for the blasts last year etc...

Scary though, and very sad - especially considering India is mainly peaceful.

17 Bomb Blasts Rock Agmedabad, 29 Dead:

Minutes before the blasts, the Intelligence Bureau and various media houses received an e-mail from a little known group that called itself the Indian Mujahideen, warning of a possible attack.
...
Union Minister of State for Home Sri Prakash Jaiswal said, "The blasts seem to be along the lines of yesterdays Bangalore blasts. It is a conspiracy to unsettle the country. All metros are on a high alert."

As well as this new 'Indian Mujahideen', other speculation of who's responsible involves LeT, and SIMI, in retaliation for recent 'narco-analysis interrogations' (indicated by locations of some of the initial blasts yesterday).
