I am sure most of us know that under the current Nobel prize system, only those who are living can be awarded Nobel Prize for their achievements. I personally think that is Bull.

People who have done marvelous things in the past that even today reflect our life don't deserve Nobel Prize, just because they don't exist in human flesh?

Take for example Newton, he wasn't given a Nobel Prize for his achievements in Science, if Newton wasn't born, science wouldn't have been born until much later. We wouldn't be this advanced as this.

Not just him, how about Galileo, Kepler, Socrates, Plato, Voltarie, John Locke, and many more. Don't they deserve this prize.

Putting up the airs of a Nobel Prize is to have the living person take pride in their accomplishments. Someone who is dead can't partake in that Nobel Prize. Post Humous Nobel Prizes would only serve those who are living, without actually affecting the person who is now dead.
