I thought the universe was expanding from a central point. How can these things that are beyond us expand into us? Wait, is Earth not in the center? But we are expanding too. This confuses me.

Bring it on. At least I won't have to worry about the election, gun laws passed that would prompt intrusion into my home to take my toys away, etc...
