UFO Sighting by 12 Inspectors at Los Alamos 25FEB50
Report of sighting of flashing silvery circular object at Los Alamos on 25FEB50 by 12 Inspectors of the Atomic Energy Security Service classified on page 1 as UNIDENTIFIED

Document date: 1950-02-25
Department: OSI USAF
Author: Various
Document type: Report
pages: 4

Archivist's Notes: This file is in very good condition with all four pages being legible. It includes the report from Special agent Grieco on the sighting but what isn't included in this file is the individual interviews from each of the witnesses that is common in many of the reports of the era.

One things for certain, it wasn't a meteor, you can't say it was venus, the moon or an airplane. It also apparently bewildered the USAF investigators who basically gave up, stating that; "All logical leads had been concluded... CLOSED"

I agree.... funny how they come up with the "known" objects and keep the document under lock and key (Top Secret).....

FOIA: Sighting by 12 inspectors, Los Alamos 25FEB50 – Unidentified

4 page file of a sighting on 25the Feb 1950 at Kirtland AFB by 12 Atomic Energy Security Inspectors at around 3.45pm.
The first page is the initial report,
the second page is Col. Doyle Rees’ cover letter to Commander General at Wright-Patterson AFB to introduce the next two pages: Report of Investigation filed by Special Agent Cristino Griego listing the inspectors names and followed by the last page which has the details of the sighting:

The object was described as being circular/tapered at both ends, size of a small plane, seen for up to 2 minutes, bright and glaring, silver and flashing, came from out of the clouds heading for earth, varied speed from slow to very fast, oscillating motion, could change course, faded from view after this time.

simply amazing. you know, for all those people on here and out in the world who think our government can't keep secrets and that this stuff is all top secret military projects, they sure put a lot of faith in them keeping these technologies secret
. i mean come on, 60 years and none of this implied tech(by that i mean actions of said objects that defy "known" aerial capabilites) is being used anywhere publicly in the world? just think...with fighters equipped with this implied technology.....who would stand a chance against us? but more on topic, it's just another piece of evidence that people who are used to dealing with hi-tech things, like atomic facilities and have no doubt seen all the types of aircraft on said bases, and having a firm basis in science, see these things too and for the life of them can't figure out what they are according to our current knowledge.

i also like how on page two, the department name is blacked out. what's that about? and why is unidentified written in and the other explanation blacked out? very strange, one does wonder....
