Gday,
Over the weekend I was having a few drinks with a mate.
His place is a share house situated above a chemist on a busy intersection.
It was about 1 am on the 18 August (Australia) when reclining on his new couch I started to hear a strange effect with my speech. It was when I was
talking I noticed a low quality microphone effect.
I initially thought it was some kind of sound wave interference similar to when you speak into a blowing fan.
We are musicians and I had just finished jamming on my guitar so I concluded the source of the effect to be the guitar amplifier.
After reclining for a bit I decided to sit up and test my speech auditory and to my surprise it was fine.
I turned off the amp and sat back down reclining again.
The effect was back!
I started to freak out a bit and decided to sit on another chair.
The effect was gone.
The next day I contemplated what had happened and was feeling quite weird.
It felt as if when reclined on that chair in that position within my mate’s apartment I was situated in some kind of vortex.
I realised later the owner of the chemist died the week before under his room.
I still have no idea what is going on as the rest of the weekend was extremely weird.
