Is the media covering up Knoville race-killing?

I am trying to find factual info on the carjacking/rapes/murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom in Knoxville, TN back in January.

Someone sent me a very inflammatory email about the racial motives for the attacks, and the very lurid rape and sodomy of the victims. I think theres a media blackout---no coverage other than in newspapers. On the other hand, some reporters have said the bodies were defiled after death, and that some of the brutality is internet rumor mill.

I am trying to find out what really happened without all the racial bating.

(no mention of the nature of the crimes, only that one of the defendents has been charged with 16 different kinds of rape of the two victims)
