It landed at 8:04am in the morning at JHB international in SA, for testing.
Is South Africa considering the A380 for their fleet?

Is their anybody with high resolution pics of the aircraft plz?

If you go to the search page of Airliners.net you will find high res pictures of outstanding quality of almost every type of aircraft, not just airliners, including the A380.

- Maybe but not necessarily.

IIRC Africa was always a feature of a brand new planes' 'tour' to demonstrate they were capable of operations at 'hot n high' airfields.

Its also a "show the flag" type operation. Boeing does it as well like thier much talked about 777 long range flight earlier in the year. No doubt the 787 will be making the rounds as well.

In a major milestone today the A380 has recieved its type certificate from both EASA and the American FAA, now, just got to get the wires to fit and we're off
