Iran has redoubled its efforts to enrich uranium. Reports say that Iran has introduced UF6 (uranium gas) into a second cascade of 168 centrifuges. This is obviously testing the fortitude of UN policy, which has already called for sanctions on the Islamic Republic. President Bush has responded with the usual.

They fear that even operating a few cascades of centrifuges helps Tehran to develop knowledge of the fuel cycle, making it easier for Iran to go underground with a covert weapons programme in the future, our correspondent adds.

Iran's first cascade, consisting of 168 centrifuges, produced a small quantity of enriched uranium in February.

Tehran has said it plans to install 3,000 centrifuges in Natanz by March, something scientists say appears optimistic, our correspondent adds.

You know that if Iran is openly showing the world two cascades, there are many, many more in underground facilities. But, that aside, they are openly flaunting their disregard for the International community by this act.

The thing that is really scary, is that the same old rhetoric is all you here from anyone who could do anything about it. And even scarier, Israel is increasingly put in a 'do or die' situation!
