listening post/ weaons facility?

New at this just looking on google earth and i note odd turrett looking (things?) amidst what appears to be a listening post - any ideas what this is please. Im aware google earth has been posted at length in ats before but i cant find anything relating to this??lat and long 8 43 39.20"N and 167 44 13.63"E

IMHO , the features you point out are part of a tank farm ,

from looking @ google earth - it is imposible to tell if they are fuel storage , water storage or sewage / waste processing .

but i am certain they are simple cylindrical storage tanks .

as for your description of them as " turrets " the projections you can see [ all pointing SW ] are just imaging anomolies , - please look at this area [ 200m south west of your co ordinates :

8°43'28.36"N , 167°44'7.99"E



not how all the projections are orientated on the same bearing -- thats another clue that they are glitches .

switching on the " google community place marks " layer feathure in GE and googling the atoll name at these sites :
