I just came back from my western Canada trip and looked at some of my digital photos when I noticed one for the ATS forums.

This picture was taken on June 27th I believe.... around 4 - 5 pm, at Maligne Lake near Jasper.

I didn't notice any object in my photo... or else I would have waited to take the photo.

Anyways I took two shots and the "dot" only appears in this shot.

Here is the EXIF information

The reason it caught my attention was because when zoomed it appears to have shading...

I dunno, pretty tame as "UFO" photos go, but I thought I would post it.

P.S. Good trip to Jasper and area !

Edit: Name of lake

Hi Dulcimer.

Thanks for posting this up, its a shame we cant see more detail on the UFO, but the scenario looks great.

Im sure someone will say bird, plane, and maybe it is.

Interesting photo, even without the object in the sky you are a talented photographer. I'm curious, did you notice any other strange happenings while you were taking the photo?? Any sonic boom or visible contrail?? It really does'nt look like any airplane or helicopter i've seen, and anyway..probably a bit high for a chopper anyway. Then again, i wear glasses...soo who knows. Good Job though.
