A group of citizens decides to show to the government how do deal with certain situations. A free initiative has taken place in California and the organization led by Jim Wood of Running Springs, California strongly believe that can build a barbed-wire fence with solar motion lights and sirens to protect the borders from the clandestin imigrants.

Taking matters into their own hands, some activists are working to build a fence along the nearly 2,000-mile U.S. southern border – with or without government participation.

Using the slogan "American Citizens Securing the Borders Themselves," The Border Fence Project hopes to raise enough money to build a fence along 90 percent of the U.S.-Mexico border that currently has no physical barrier.

According to the effort's website, the "fencing solution" will include the use of near-wholesale raw materials and use volunteer labor to build the structure.

That's a slap in the face for Bush's administration and shows a growing disbelieve from american citizens toward their government.
The idea probably is not the only solution and maybe not the right one but is a strong wake up call for this apathetical government.
