The U.S. is known, although not widely, for playing cat and mouse. We did it to Russia, we do it to China, we did it to Iraq, and we are probably doing it right now to Iran. Basically, a fighter or spy plane flies into Iranian airspace. A radar system picks this up, and Iran responds, usually by turning on their radar and sam sites. American pilots plot these coordinates and those coordinates are programmed into cruise missiles for later use when we actually attack. So those sites are pretty much going to be non-existent before any Israeli or American fighter/bomber comes near their airspace. This will be the first wave.

Its very sensible to presume that the Iranians aren't obnlivious to this. Although countering this W/O scrambling intercept a/c is an intricate(and interesting) job of cycling radar positions(avoiding satellites of course ) while still maintaining the same spread.

And as for China and Russia (or any other big ass country) any such incursions will be met by interceptor a/c which will let munitions 'loose', in territorial airspcae or even beyond. You can bet on that..

Also the whole IR stealth vulnerability deal if true, also probably has the Americans working on that.

No way man. You've never seen the video from the cold war of the F-15's escorting a Russian bomber out of our airspace? Hell...during the cold war a Russian bomber ran out of fuel, emergency landed on an American installation, was refueled by us and escorted out.

Remember a couple years ago with our spy plane in China? They didn't fire then either. You would be surprised how often this happens.
