USAF takes another look at the FB-23!

Ive been a fan of this basic design since the YF-23 I first heard about it around when the B-2 first went public but I was pretty young but I remember seeing a early artist concept drawing of it. Im baised yes but I think Northrop should have gotten the deal over Lockheeds Raptor.

I hope they accept the FB-23 its a great plane.

Personally, I think someone got PAID OFF to give the Lockheed, Boeing, GD team the contract!

If it was my choice, I'd take the F-23 over the F-22 Any Time. Someone got paid, and the tax payer got 2nd Best!

Everyone I talked too that worked at Northrop during the YB-23 program told me the choice had more to do with politics rather then who made the better plane.

So you may indeed be right on that account Ghost.

Though I have to say I never talked to anyone that worked at Lockheed at that time.
