BC Government Hurts Citizens

I have given this much thought. I don't really take sides political agenda's but I do have one here.
Having lived much of my life in BC, I decided to spend a couple of years in Alberta. While in Alberta I found that disabled people were not given much to live on and it was a big issue there. But the Alberta government correct the issue and gave those that were diabled a 150 dollar a month raise. It had been said that Alberta had the worst assistance program in all Canada.
I beg to differ. After having moved back to BC and seeing the program out here, I would have to say BC has the worst assistance program in Canada. They don't give you enought to rent your own place, often making people live with strangers because they have no choice in this issue. Forget buying new clothes as the thrift store (thats a whole different issue) or anywhere else for that matter.
I was amazed, to say the least, on the social assistance program in BC.

There is nothing like punishing the disabled for something that is not there fault in the first place.!!!
