This is just Iran probing the perimeter.

Iran cut a deal with the U.S. Democrat party 15 years ago. The Trump presidency was a disaster for Iran’s leader ship. They have a keen interest in keeping the Democrats in power; Biden still, still talks about a nuclear deal with Iran.

The problem is, for a corrupt regime, the autocrat at the top cannot always keep the underlings from going rogue and starting something to gain popularity.

In Iran, the Republican guard frequently starts snap, to keep the support of the masses. They are supposed to be fighting the “little Satan” (Israel) and the “great Satan” ( the U.S.A.). So every once a while, they have to go attack something even if he gets them in trouble with the admin.

On the American side, the navy top brass can see the Democrat policy will probably not be in effect after 2024, least of all in Congress, which approves top naval appointments. So every naval officer that can be accused of cowering to Iran is going to get flushed after the election. many that have supported the Democrats so far, are having to polish their metals and rattle their sabers to keep their pensions.

Spy vs. Spy, gunboat edition

Remember Kissinnger a couple of years ago stating the conflict was at some point down the line unavoidable due to US pressure around Iran's borders and seas. Anyway it's all tied into the WW3 non stop train ride to the cliffs of wherever

Being honest and realistic about it the Iranian regime is pretty horrendous and wishes to do many religious minorities and western nations more harm than good. Removing the current regime can only be a good thing and is without doubt on the cards. It's just what comes afterwards that is a little concerning

Why is it that every country hostile to The United States fights like punks?

I realize Iran is the literally the birthplace of sabre rattling, but taking hostages and attacking the ships of US and UK commonwealth territories is lame.

It's like picking a fight with an alpha high school kid by abducting his 5 year old brother and smacking him in the face saying, "What are going to do about it?"

So I am guessing the new axis is made up of; China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and possibly The Brics countries.

What are we not in thise counties worried about?

China's ponzi inflated financial status and low qualitiy manufacturing, Saudi Arabias single resource and economic engine, Russias denial of what has changed the last 30 years?

Those are the main countries taking up axis positions.

I'd rather have NATO, Austrailia, Japan, and South Korea's support. Not one of those other counties has a nationalistic goal I can support.

** Extra Rant on each new axis power. Partial thread drift **

China:

China lost Taiwan when they deposed the government there to control the mainland. Which by laws of earth means they own the mainland. Likewise, Taiwan belongs to the government deposed there. Both can drop their claim of the other.

Other than that, they created a virus, "accidentally" released it, and stayed running and manufacturing as the rest of the world went into an extended lockdown.

They use a pseudo-ponzi scheme to fund their growth by exploiting their own middle and upper class. The condo down payment Family A puts down is covering covering the costs of the next round of expansion, not their own home.

Then they ran out money after a CCP lending crackdown..

Now they are pretty much stuck with this:

But China is like the narcissist who can't admit fault. So they can cook their books because authoritatively controlled capitalists don't have any civil regulatory agencies to go through their books for impropriety.

They pretty much pushed PPP to replace GDP, so they can be #1 with their ridiculously inflated purchasing power.

Russia:

Needs to deal with NATO. Needs to let go and move on. Can't even win a proxy war of minimal committed resources. I'd imagine a full-on Article V engagement would level them rather quickly. No worries. Just waiting on the cold war memberberries to die and they'll be applying to NATO 10 years later.

Saudi Arabia:

The only argument for converting to hydrogen and EV's is to replace enough to stop doing business completely. I'd rather they drill the arctic and hurt the poor polar bears than placate or fund Saudi Arabias ostentatious spending of their money. The world's largest God clock. The world's largest single building. The world's largest yachts. The world's smallest manhoods. Now, stone that woman to death for not covering her head and driving without a man's permission..

Iran:

Why can't Iran still be Zoroastrian? It would be much better with classic Persians. Zoraster is good Prophet people.

Iran's kind of a joke. Pisses them off Israel can wipe them off the planet with minimal effort. Historic Iran (via the Achaemenid Empire) were the ones that let the israelites return the first time. What changed seems to always happen after the mountain comes to Muhammed. They also stone woman to death over not listening to men and head thingies.

Although I've been hearing for over 20 years that there were plans to overthrow seven Islamic nations' governments in seven years, and first thought Iran was about to be attacked in 2005, and Israel is always calling for it, and Saudi Arabia was previously all for it, and U.S. presidents have occasionally been for it, and even Nostradamus prophecies suggest war with Iran (as part of WWIII with Islam) will be over by 2028... I feel like I've heard the boy cry wolf too many times to be holding my breath waiting. When it happens it happens.

There's no profit to be made with peace... at least in the US government understanding.

You don't genuinely believe that nonsense do you? Yeah, no one in the world would have any beef with each other if it wasn't for the U.S. stirring up trouble...

Right. You've been fed a freaking mountain of propaganda.
