Don't watch CNN. Being English.

My actual point was that Russia does not currently have an operational Carrier.

If Russia actually attacked and sunk a US carrier, of which they have a few, the consequences for Russia would be severe, as in WW3.

"Your low key Russian intolerance and bigotry(phoboa?) gets tiresome."

Low key intolerance?

It's more than that.

"Bigotry (phoboa)"?

Please.

Your anti West Putin supporting is not particularly wholesome, either, sunshine.

Weve seen what Ukraine so far has done to some of their Naval vessels and Ukraine doesnt even have a Navy to speak of

I dont have a side in that fight, but it seems from all outward appearances the Russian military was vastly overhyped, but then again we see that a lot with Russia and China, all countries do it to an extent

Give credit to our intel and military here.

Eventually, russia will have to act out of desperation at the hands that are feeding Ukraine.

Dunno when, but this can't end any other way.

That my friend is indeed my biggest fear, and it should be one everyone has calculated in, but it seems those who are fully behind Ukraine refuse to consider that eventuality

its madness

Indeed, indeed.

The narrative that the only way this war ends is with russia running home with their tail between their legs is pure fantasy. There was a reason they invaded, some laughable, some very legitimate that took years of pressure.

The invasion was a result, not the beginning.

"It's like you don't know anything about Naval warfare and how tonnage matters."

Quite.

Your knowledge of naval warfare seems limited to Russian propaganda.

Your flagship got sunk by Ukrainian missiles because of basic bad seamanship.

Criminal negligence really.

Did her Captain get a commendation?

Or was he sacked and in Gulag?

I concur and Vladimir will not tolerate the permanent humiliation on the world stage as well as the rest of the injury

Imho that is

He probably tried to run to Ukraine for asylum

ruZZias pushed one too many times, the rest of us know it and are fed up with it, and most of the world seems to be in unison in the matter (except for those who seem to think such unison is nefarious, or are dictators in the same vain as putler) ... if ruZZia isnt given a bloody nose this time, it'll just happen again in 8 or so years. Do you guys want ruZZia to invade ANOTHER of its neighbors again in a decade?.. like its done many times in the past... what if we'd said, oh its was only Austria and Polland im sure he'll stop after Polland 80 years ago.

How many times does the school yard let the bully get his way before the rest of them decide enough is enough?

ruZZia was threatening nukes from day one when people started helping... 1 year latter they are still threatening 'war on a whole new level' (funny they stopped using the word nukes, rather telling), empty impotent threats from a bully whos finally been called out on their # and all they can do is flail around repeating the same few words over and over in desperation.

So putler would rather nuke the world than have his pride dented?.. and that sort of person shouldnt be stopped due to the risks?

Personally any thing to do with China is nothing but a deflection by the pro ruZZia side, they've lost, and all they have now in their arsenal is 'LOOK OVER THERE!'... Chinas in the same boat as ruZZia, their population is crashing, their economy is declining (although unlike ruZZia social unrest is on the rise big time), China was just lucky enough ruZZia did something stupid first to give it pause on its own goals (something Chinas clearly pissed at ruZZia for). If Chinas stupid enough to openly give the rest of the world concern in what it might be aiming for in the next decade then it can go the same way... China needs the 'West' to survive, it knows it, we know it.

Yes. China needs the West more than it does Russia.

Quite happy to throw Putin under a bus.

Turned out to be a little more difficult than I'd have liked to to find statistics on this so just went with the one above. Without concern for quality of ships deployed, the UK has 20 deployed frigate+ type ships/boats (subs).

China is currently building 12 destroyers/cruisers/subs per year now for the foreseeable decade.

I think it is obvious that China isn't building a Navy for "prestige", they intend to put it to work. Most of their fleet are missile boats which are highly lethal. China is building 2 Type-055s a year now, to bring its number to 20+. The Type-055 as tested by DCS simulations which are reasonable since they can duplicate war game results like with the Boghammar attack in straights of Hormuz, suggests that a Type-055 is 2x to 4x as deadly as the Arleigh Burke and is comparable to the Ticonderogas if not surpasses them also.

www.navalnews.com...

It has far more hit capability and can expend a few of that classes' entire armaments before finishing them off with hypersonics.

But - I think it's down right impressive that the tonnage of warships China is building per year is now bigger than UK's deployable fleet.

And it's not just the tonnage, the number of ships is impressive too, 12 versus 20.

dont worry
the mic is ahead of the game with space air force

once in use, it will only take less then 23 minutes to destroy any chinese BS ship they have made.
also note the mic and the military intel also keep dead on track of the dummies of the ships through a high tech space x ray system that we all hope that the bj didn't leave the tp secret # there that the chinese at the university had access to
america is NOT being told
why the CIA is on the side of the ccp ?
why the military is not trusting the CIA these days? there's your answer
