The Food for Life Program by ISKCON (the Hare Krishnas):

Of course, what's available depends on countries' pricing and donations (mainly by the Hindu community).

But decades of experience, especially as the belief is that vegetarian food dedicated to Krishna is "prasadam", or a spiritual blessing.

The ingredients are usually quite mundane, like beans, butternut and potatoes, but the Indian spices (they don't use onions or garlic, preferring asafoetida) and cooking time (according to pot-size) always make it a free (and "karma-free") favorite.

Actually "Food for Life" is a major operation, for example, Cape Town.
