Chinese scientists have developed an anti-porn helmet

We seem to be nearing peak goofiness.

A team of Chinese scientists have developed a mind-reading AI porn helmet which will bust you if you're watching "indecent" content! No porn in China!

Some factories in China are already monitoring employee emotions. I guess the "indecency detector" is the next step?

This is hilarious:
Jian huang shi or "porn appraisers". These are positions held mostly by women who scour the photos and videos available on the internet in China. However, humans assigned to a task grow tired when doing it repeatedly, and fatigue throws up errors. Even A.I. algorithms can not pick all images, so some content still manages to slip unnoticed.


On the flip side, Vegas hotels have robots that will bring the porn to you:
Room service porn.

So the helmet reads the emotions of the person looking at something to see if they are looking at porn. And the person is so tired of looking at porn that they make mistakes. Now how exactly is the AI in this device going to know the difference between nonporn and ignored porn?

It still relies on the human mind for the emotional response and therefore is as totally faliable as the human is tired of looking.

Also, suppose the person is getting very hungry and sees an image of food they desire, how is this not mistaken for porn as the emotional response would be the same.

Why can't they put money into something useful like an AI that runs on all news programs and political speaches to simply lie detect the content? That would be useful.

It seems the Chinese have passed their peak and are now on the back slide. It is estimated in 50+ years their population will be 500k+ due to low birth rate with a population like 90% retired age. They might force women to have kids in the very near future. The men have turned into soy boys and are afraid of women and just want to play games and I guess masturbate.

Japan will end up like with a big nature reserve with a couple of humans that forgot how to reproduce.

Studies have shown that most women are not visually stimulated anywhere near the same degree as men are, and their idea of visual stimulation is far, far different. For example, most of my lady friends agree there's nothing sexier than watching a man doing dishes or vacuuming. That's far more likely to generate a 'home run' than any porno flick ever could!

I think a lot of their controlling and over reaching of personal liberty is simply because their population is so extremely huge life has lost a lot of meaning for them so they treat people like livestock and feel no guilt about packing them in stripping them down and invading their minds.
