Just did the Tools search in CCleaner. It is a Webroot file....

Missed that one.
Failed Webroot update will do this every time .

Oldie , but goodie .

Uninstall Webroot using I/O Bit uninstaller. (free version . keep for future use if wanted)
Then reinstall .

I like I/O Bit uninstaller as it cleans the registry after uninstalling .
No , keep all else in mind in case of not being able to uninstall .

It looks like you've got this sorted, DTOM! I'm glad you were able to identify the cause via CCleaner and with Gothmog's sound advice, your system should be good to go.

I forgot ccleaner could do that, we mostly just used it for scanning.

I'll report back later, I'm sure this get fixed.

Now I remember IO bit uninstaller!!
It always wants you to I install more LOL.

And oh!!! The irony!!!!!
Webroot found a tag along as well.

It does work as I uninstalled two of the things it added.
So.
I installed on my desktop, will wait to tomorrow before doing it on the laptop.

Now that he knows what the Program file is, he's in no hurry to get rid of it.

From what I know , it is just a nuisance
And I remembered why I had that issue .
A failed AMD Catalyst driver installation .

After the crapware was removed.....I remembered as well....Something would not get totally removed.... although I don't remember the outcome, other than I removed the program.
It is still on your computer?


It is quite well-rated, except to the crap I guess.
I like that it does a Restore Point before removal.....

Hey, I want to ask a question. Ik I can ask separately but It's urgent.
So I want to know Adding many how can I make a single dmg file out of many Python files in different folders. I know that's doable for a single file, but how can I do it for several?
I can make a dmg for a 1.py file but not for numerous files in several directories.

Try Folder Merger to get all your files merged into one directory.

I haven't tried it, so no guarantees.
