He does say that in that video, however that video was also from 6 years ago. So maybe they've started to test it.

Sure, but the overall point is that the trails we see in the sky can be explained as just normal contrails from normal jet traffic.

Correct, i was not trying to use that video to try to explain it as anything else, aside from the point that contrails can in fact be used as a form of geo engineering.

It has been known (or at the very least theorized) for a while now that normal contrails made by normal passenger jet traffic have a warming effect on the climate. So it is not surprising that tweaking aspects of flight paths might be a way to combat these effects.

Contrails: How tweaking flight plans can help the climate

Plane Contrails Have a Surprising Effect on Global Warming. But small changes in altitude can dampen the effect, a study says

I once observed a plane in the distance while driving through central-northern Mongolia that appeared to be flying straight up. I kept an eye on it for a while because I knew it couldn't be. It seemed to be going up and up and up forever.

It was just the perspective.

Contrail in the sunrise or sunset. Looking out my window at nearly the same thing right now

Is the plane also dive bombing a mountain range like the one in the picture?

No kidding. The thing is so bizarre looking that it’s reported in international media and a rescue team is sent to investigate, but the answer is “this is perfectly normal. Just your eyes playing tricks, light refraction and such.”

It’s perspective. The plane isn’t going down, it’s flying away from the camera. Since it’s getting farther away, it appears to be going downward. People don’t understand perspective anymore.

As for the contrails, it is perfectly normal.
