Bad.
Really, really bad.

If you go to an ER and say you're having chest pains, you are going to be the star of the show. You're going to be hooked up to an EKG/heart monitor, blood pressure cuff, O2 sensor on your finger, blood draw, the works. Someone will be watching you very closely.

....at least that's how it's supposed to go.

My wife told me that at their ER a guy came in with chest pains and they put him in a room.
And left him there.
By himself, with none of that being done.

Went back to check on him 2 Hours Later and found him dead on the floor.

I'd say it's a safe bet someone is getting fired and the hospital is looking at a very large lawsuit.

is this the hospital she is leaving? If so, it's clear as to why.

Yep and Thank God she doesn't work in the ER, so she's not caught up in all this.

Oh hell yes. I've already got 90% of my stuff packed and waiting and she is very much looking forward to getting out of there and starting the new job.

Jesus. My world every day. Someone seriously dropped that ball.

*Did you know if we (911) take him....he would/should/will be hooked up.?

Not necessarily if he walked or was brought in by himself or family

Same med situation...but treated 180° differently.

911 EMT

My wife's hospital has Paramedics who work in the ER and that's who put him in the room.
I don't know how he got there, my wife just said "They had a patient come in ".

So ... He died of covid?

Surely he died of covid. Can't imagine it would have been anything else.

Man, this covid thing is running rampant.

As said my good friend: Someone dropped something no matter.

Get there, you should be seen. It's a real hard call...but zero excuse.
